Basic Principles

(Public Interest Incorporated Foundation) The Minato City Sports, Community, Culture and Health Foundation 【Minato-ku Sports Fureai Bunka Kenko Zaidan】 is a public service corporation established by Minato City for the purpose of implementing various projects, such as community promotion, sports promotion, culture promotion, lifetime education support, and improving health, for the people who live, work, and study in Minato City (hereafter referred to as "customers") in order to improve the local community.

As members of the local community, we at the Foundation work with community centers, businesses, and others to protect the irreplaceable global environment, and we actively promote environmentally conscious activities that value our local environment. We also strive to improve the quality of our "services to our users," which are the core of our work, and to provide services that provide greater satisfaction. The Foundation recognizes the importance of protecting personal information in an advanced information society, so based on the principle of respecting individual personality we will handle and protect all personal information of our customers, clients, and employees carefully and appropriately.

Basic Policy

1. Personal information will only be acquired after first specifying the purposes for which it will be used, then after acquiring agreement, only the information necessary for the purpose will be collected.
2. When receiving personal information from third parties, we will confirm that an agreement is already in place to allow such a provision of information.
3. The acquired personal information will only be used for the work that requires it and will only be used for the purposes for which the agreement was received.
4. The personal information will not be used for purposes other than indicated, unless the agreement has been received beforehand, or it is necessary to use it to protect an important matter, such as legal regulations and the life, health, or property of a person. Appropriate measures will be taken in such instances.
5. Appropriate preventive measures and corrective measures will be implemented so that personal information is not lost, destroyed, altered, leaked, and accessed illegally.
6. If handling of personal information is subcontracted, then the subcontractor will be managed so that it properly handles and protects the information.
7. If a customer requests notification of the use purposes, disclosure, correction of contents, additions or deletions, termination of use, erasing, or termination of providing personal information to third parties, then we shall comply as quickly.
8. We will comply with all laws, government guidelines, and other regulations pertaining to personal information.
9. In addition to widely disseminating our Personal Information Protection Guidelines, we will continue to review and improve the management system that we have made.
10. We will quickly and appropriately handle any complaints and consultation requests pertaining to the handling of personal information.
11. We do not handle anonymously processed information that is processed so that a specific individual cannot be identified, and personal information cannot be restored.
